1960-1969 Actor - Actress

Jul. 07, 1966 - Filming Grand Prix at Brandis Hatch': Filming took place yesterday at the Brands Hatch circuit, of Grand Prix a film about world championship racing drivers. The script calls for American actor, James Garner, the star of the film who has the role of a driver, to cross the finishing line in a burning car - his heroic finish enabling him to win the world championships. There was plenty of realism during the shooting of the film, which is directed by John Frankenshiemer. At the end, James Garner who refused a double for the scene, said My bylon socks were melting in the heat.
