1966 - The enthusiastic photographer : whilst photographers were taking pictures of American film star Mickey Rooney, in the grounds of his hotel in Rome - one of them failed to notice how near he was to the edge of the hotel pool - and before anyone to help him, he had toppled in. However, Mickey was on hand to assist him out, and to land a hand in drying out his equipment. photo shows Mickey Rooney makes the equipment off the sacking wet photographer, after the accident
