Feb. 02, 1968 - Katharine Schofield models nude in TV series: There was a photo-call today at ATV Studios, Elstree, for the episode entitled Entente Cordiale which in the Virgin of the Secret Service series, in which Katharine Schofield, 24, appears nude for the first time in her life in public, as a Paris night club girl trained for a month by one of the Paddy Stone Dancers, and is painted in the nude. For the photo call, Paul Bernard, the director of this episode, was putting the finishing touches to the portrait. he is a former artist and Katharine sat for him at his studio. She lives in Cambridge and is the daughter of a professor at King's College Hospital. She has been acting for four years and was trained at Lamda. Of the nude scene she says I was very shy at first, but Paul is a very good artist and he gave me the confidence I needed. It is not a dirty part and I wouldn't have taken it if it was. The character I play thinks it is perfectly natural to be seen naked and I don't think anybody could object to it.
