Jan. 01, 1969 - Grand festival of the Munich carnival: Was the annual Bal pare, arranged by the Offenburg publisher Senator Dr. Franz Burda. About 100 guests from politics, economics, film and show business were invited. Until the early morning hourse the various bands played hot and sweet and all the VIPs could be seen eagerly danoing the whole night. Stars of the evening were Johnny Mathis, rather well-known in the American show business, the English singer Petula Clark, Augie and Margo, dancing stars of the Sammy Davis and Ed Sullivan Show, The 5th Dimension'. one of the world's most famous singing and dancing group.
