Jul. 07, 1968 - 600-Year-Old Home Of Lord De L'isle Is Setting For New Series Of Beverly Hillbillies: viewers in 21 countries are to see Penshurst Place, near Tonbridge, Kent - the 600 - year-old home of Lord De LIsle. The house, park and the Italian gardens are the setting for a new series of the Baverly Hillbillies TV programme. Filming of five episodes began yesterday. American stars taking part in the series include Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas, Max Baer (son of the famous boxer) Raymond Bailey and Nancy Culp.
