Mar. 03, 1968 - Tommy Steele at Party to Launch new Film.: Tommy Steele, who has made three musical films in a row, will appear in his first straight role, - co-starring with Stanley Baker in Where's Jack? - a bawdy comedy which goes into production in Ireland at the end of April. The story of Where's Jack? revolves round the adventures of Jack Sheppard, the youthful 18th. Century British highwayman who escaped from prison on four separate occasions with Houdini-like deftness. Tommy Steele will play Sheppard, with Stanley Baker playing his currupt pursuer, Jonathan Wilde.
