Nov. 11, 1967 - Marianne Faithfull and Alain Delon At The Circus - For New Film: Marianne Faithfull and Alain Delon, stars of the Anglo-French Production Girl On A Motorcycle, spend a day at the circus for dream scenes in this lyrical love drama, directed by Jack Cardiff, and co-produced by William Sesscon and Sacha Kamenka, for distribution by British Lion. Wearing her black leather motor cycling suit designed especially for her by Lanvin - Marianne circles round the sawdust ring on a circus horse while Alain - who plays her lover Daniel in the film - cracks a commanding whip as Ringmaster. The Film has just returned from shooting in Geneva, Strasbourg and Heidelberg for two weeks filming at Shepperton.
