Sep. 11, 1968 - Anthony Newley and Joan Collins Filming the Scene Malta Banned - on a Sussex Beach.: Anthony Newley and his wife, Joan Collins were at Camber Sands, Sussex, today, filming one of the scenes which Malta wouldn't allow to be filmed on their beaches. The Maltese authorities had banned them from filming such scenes as Newley in bed with Joan, Joan in bed having a baby, and Newley with naked girls, for their new film Can Heironymus Merkin ever forget Mercy Humppe and find true happiness?.
