Dec. 16 Sophia Loren presented with Gold Star Award when she attends the premiere of her film. Sophia Loren last night received the first Aleksander Korda Award, a twenty pointed gold star after being named International Star of the year by Stanley Reed, director of the British Film Institute. The presentation was made by actor director Peter Ustinov when Sophia attended the world premiere of her new film Lady L at the Empire in London's Leicester Square, last night.
