May 05, 1970 - Richard Chamberlain finds his Ophelia: After a 5 month search for a new discovery to play Ophelia opposite Richard Chamberlain in ATV's television production of Hamlet has ended. The part will be played by Ciaran Madden aged 23 who won the part after auditioning with dozens of other girls. The Two Hour colour showing of Hamlet will be seen on ITV next year, it will also be seen in America, Canada and Australia.
