Feb. 25, 1970 - Somewhat out of her business ? was Caterina Valente, the famous show star, when she tapped a beer barrel at the beginning of the so-called ?time of strong beer? in Munich. During this time especially strong beer is brewed in Bavaria. After she had accomplished the trick of tapping the beer, she of course took a deep draught from the beer mug. Our picture shows Caterina Valente in a genuine ?beer tapping dress?, together with Ruth Kappelsberger (l), the announcer of the Bavarian Television. Of course the beer spirits were high.
