Aug. 08, 1972 - Rehearsal For Musical Mother Earth': There was a rehearsal today for Mother Earth, the new American rock revue which uses ecological themes such as pollution, extinction of animals and over-population as a springboard for humour, which opens at the Round House on September 19. Peter Straker, the Jamaican - born Londoner who played Hud in Hair for almost two years is to star in Mother Earth and Helen Chappell, who played Jeannie in Hair, is leading lady.
