Jan. 01, 1976 - Love godess Rita Hayworth causes a scene on her arrival at London's heathrow airport : Love goddess Rita Hayworth, who created the famous film role of Gilda 30 years ago, caused a sensation when she refused to leave the aircraft on arrival at London's Heathrow Airport. Eventually Rita- the woman who invented The Look in the forties had to be half carried down the aircraft steps her famous hair all over the place.
