May 05, 1972 - Gayle Hunnicut to Star in Scorpio'. Director Michael winner today announced that Gayle Hunnicut has been signed for a leading role in his new film Scorpio which stars Burt Lancaster, Alain Delon, and Paul Schofield. Miss Hunnicut will play the ro;e of Susan, a secret agen who is romantically involved with the character played by Alain Delon. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Gayle Hunnicut began her acting career in 1996 in the television play Mr. Roberts'. Within weeks she was starring in motion pictures and established herself as an actress of note in such films as New Face in Hell, Eye of the Cat, Marlow, and Fragment of Fear in which she she co starred with her husband, David Hemmings. Scorpio commences shooting in Washinton D.C. on May 29th for two weeks, the other locations are England, Vienna and Paris.
