Jul. 12, 1976 - Stars of the New Adventure TV Series Get Together at Pinewood Studios. The principals of the new TV series The Avengers were pictured together for the first time at the Pinewood Studios today. They are Patric MacNee as John Steed, Joanna Lumley as Purdey, and Gareth Hunt as Mike Gambit. The old series of the Avengers grossed more than 7 million and about one third of this amount coming to Britain.
