Oct. 10, 1974 - Lonely Hearts Appear on Television.: Two Lonely People - a girl of 24 and a boy of 22 - last night appeared on Britain's first television marriage bureau'. They spoke in the ITV Today programme about their unhappy romantic lives and their vain searched to find marriage partners - then vicwers interested in either lonely heart were invited to write to the studio. Full names of the boy and girl were kept secret and only Chirstian names were used. The girl was Bozena a police clark from Purlay, Surrey, and the boy was Andy, a cockney, who now lives in Bethual Green. Photo shows Bozena and Andy pictured last night after their TV appearance
