Sep. 09, 1976 - HEARTBROKEN SINGER MEL TORME ARRIVES IN LONDON WITH A PLEA FOR THE RETURN OF HIS CHILDREN: Following the break-up of his marriage to British actress Janette Scott a month ago, singer Mel Torme has flew into London to ask the courts to give him back his children. The couple had been married for 10 years and there are two children, Daisy, 6, and James 3, who are at present living with their mother. Janette Scott, 38, has been ordered to return the children to America and produce them in court there by a judge in California, but Janette in turn has made the children temporary wards of the court in London.
