Apr. 26, 1976 - With an interior design degree, Jeanne Goupil has never taken acting lessons. However, the Academie du Cinema named her The Best French Actress for her role in Les Galettes de Pont'Aven, the third movie that she has filmed under the direction of Joel Seria. Seria also directed her in Marie-Poupee where she played a young virgin who falls madly in love with a doll merchant. She marries him and believes to be living in a fairy tale, but in her chateau, clothed in marvelous gowns, she comes to understand little by little that her husband only thinks of her as the prettiest doll...
