Sep. 09, 1978 - It's the big for Jenny Hanley of Magpie': This morning Jenny Hanley, who is one of the presented of Thames Television's Magpis programme, took a canoe out on the Thames, when she was in mid-stream she rolled out of the - into the river - but help was at hand, Two Newfoundland dogs jumped into the water and swam out to her, bringing her safely back to the shore. This rescue will be shown on the Magpie programme later this month. Photo shows Jenny seen thanking one of the Newfoundland dogs that pulled her out of the river today
