Jul. 24, 1980 - July 24th 1980 Peter Sellers dies Actor Peter Sellers died early today at London's Middlesex Hospital, after a massive heart attack which took place on Tuesday while the 54 years old actor was staying at the Dorchester Hotel. Since the attack he has been in a coma. His young wife, Lynne Fredrick was at his side when he died after flying from their home in Los Angeles.
