Oct. 10, 1980 - 20th anniversary of the death of Hennt Porten. 20 years ago, on October 15th, 1960 died in Berlin the German stage- and film actress Henny Porten. She was born in Magdeburg and belonged to the most popular and well-known actresses of the silent film-era; she played serious parts as well as comic ones. Annaleyn (1920), Rose Bernd (as well 1020); ten years later again Rose Bernd as sound film and Konigin Luise (1931) are only a few of Henry Porten's films.
