Oct. 10, 1980 - Star Of Caligula Malcolm McDowell Says Don't See The Film It's Porn: Malcolm McDowell, star of Caligula, said in London last night that people should not go and see the film as it is Pornographic'. The 37 year old actor has disowned the film, which also stars Sir John Glelgud, Peter O'Toole and Helen Mirren. McDowell plays the debauched Roman Emperor Caligula in the8 million film which was made by Penthouse Magazine boss, Bob Guecione. Scenes include the emperor having sex with his mistress and sister and raping a bride in front of her husband. There are also orgies involving lesbians and a soldier is castrated.
