21st birthday celebration for Julian Westwood, Bickworth
Feb. 26 Sporting Personalities At Worcestershire Party. 180 guests attended a party at Priors Court, Bickworth, in Worcestershire arranged by Mrs Jean Shepherd in celebration of her son Julian Westwood's 21st birthday. Mr. Westwood is the brother of the well known show jumper Miss Alison Westwood and many of the guests, some of whom had flown in from the continent specially for the party, were famous personalities in show jumping and other sporting circles, including Josh Gifford and his fiancee Miss Althea Roger Smith, David Broome, Marian Coakes and the well known cricketer Fred Ramsey. Music for the party was provided by Humphrey Lyttelton and his jazz band and the celebration, which began at 8 pm on Friday, April 19th - went on well into the early hours of Saturday morning.
