Jul. 07, 1976 - Top Women Golfer Vivien Saunders Stakes The Richmond Council To Court: 29 year old Vivien Saunders, a top women golfer who has represented Britain in several International tournaments was at the Industrial Tribunal Court Victoria were she was taking action under the sex discrimination act, against the Richmond Borough Council which she claims refused her a job as a club professional because she was a women. If she wins the case she could be awarded5200 in compensation for loss of earnings. The club she appled for was the new Twickenham Parkold couurse which was open this year by Richmond Borough.
