Mar. 31 Mr. Alan Alexander Milne (A.A. Milne) enjoys a quiet pipe in the comfortable living room of his home at Hartfield, Sussex. On 18th January, Mr. Alan Alexander Milne celebrates his 70th birthday. Better known as A.A. Milne, he has written many books and plays but is most famous as the author of Christopher Robin, the books and poems written round this small boy his own son, who is now a grown man, still delight children all over the world. Mr. Milne was assistant Editor of Punch from 1906 to 1914 and among his famous children's books are When We Were Very Young and Winnie the Pooh'. He now lives quietly at a delightful farm at Hartfield, Sussex
