Feb. 02, 1951 - Seventy three kills in Belgian liner crash firemen with the burning wreckage: The seventy two people aboard a Sabena Bowing 707 jet airliner were killed this morning when the machine crashed in flames and exploded as it was coming in to land at Brussels after a flight from New York. A farm worker was also killed by the blazing wreckage which was scattered for hundreds of yards over fields and a wood. The dead include the 17 members and the coach of the United States figure skating team. On way to compete in the world championships in Prague.
