Aug. 08, 1950 - Six killed in Irish night mail crash: Six people were killed when the night mail express carrying holiday makers back from Eire, crashed into a stationary engine at Penmaenmawer on the coast of North Wales over the week end. The first sic coaches were derailed and hurled from the track. Three overturned and more than 30 people were injured. Photo Shows.
