Feb. 15, 1951 - Seventy Three Killed In Belgian Air Liner Crash. Firemen With The Burning Wreckage. The seventy two people aboard a Sabena Boeing 707 jet airliner - were killed this morning when the machine crashed in flames and exploded as it was coming into land at Brussels after a flight from New York. A farm worker was also killed by the blazing wreckage which was scattered for hundreds of yards over fields and a wood. The dead include the 17 members and the coach of the United States figure skating team - on way to compete in the world championships in Prague.
