1953 - Three Feared Dead As Homes Sink Into Rail Tunnel Near Manchester: Three people were believed to have lost their lives - when three houses collapsed into the railway tunnel, known locally as Black Harry - over which they had been built in Temple drive, near Swinton, near Manchester, today.
