Aug. 08, 1951 - Another Bath girl is found murdered. Three child murders within a month: The Chief consumable of bath announced that a man has been detained and would be charged with the murder of Cecilly Batstone, aged 9. The body was found in a field two miles from Cecily's home in Camien road, Bath, She is believed to have been strangled. Cecily lived 200 yards from the corpse in which the body of 6 year old Brend Godard was found. The police had been searching 24 hours for the child, who left home to see a tarzan film yesterday afternoon, but did not return home.
