Oct. 10, 1952 - Many Killed In Triple Train Disaster. Taking A Victim On A Stretcher: It is estimated that the death roll may even be as high as 100 following the triple train crash at Harrow and Wealdstone Station this morning. The crash was between the Nightoot to Eston- the Euston to Liverpool Express - and a local train - Watford to London. One of the trains ploughed into the station platform and the railway bridge over Wealdstone High Street collapsed.
