Oct. 15, 1953 - Terrible aero-plane-accident near Frankfurt/Main: Yesterday afternoon one of the greatest aero-plane-catastrophes of the civil-air-navigation in Germany happened near the Rhine-Main air-port near Frankfurt/Main. A twin-engined machine of the Belgian aviation-company Sabena crushed down during starting short after a stop for the flight exploied and burnt. All 40 passengers and 4 men staff met their deaths. Photo shows the police seeking the remained trunks
