Feb. 06, 1954 - Tank Hauls Britannia to Safety.: The giant turbo-prop airliner, Britannia, has been saved. Last night, by the glare of Army searchlights, she was hauled by a Churchill tank to within 35 yards of the Severn's bank, well cut of danger, She was washed almost clear of the Littleton mud, and by tonight's high tide should be cut of reach of the water.
