Feb. 02, 1953 - The ruins of the railway car-- are gaping like the yawing abyss of death. The train crushed into the opposite train on the single-track railway-bridge in Heutingsheim/Wurtemberg between Ludwigsbyrg and Backang. The engine-driver of the passenger train was jammed into the locomotivetand and died if the severe injuries. The stoker still hovers between life and death. 30 injured passengers were brought into the neighbouring hospitals
