Jan. 15, 1954 - Avalanche In The Swiss Alps. A hundred and forty people are reported to have lost their lives during the recent avalanches in Austrian and Swiss Alps. The entire village of Blons in Vorarlberg, Austria - was completely buried in the Great Wolsor Valley. Damage and disaster covered wide areas of the Continent.
