Jul. 03, 1954 - Crash Pilot Cling To Wing - Pier Crowd Sees Rescue After Sea Crash Off Hastings: Hastings Holidaymakers saw a small plane dive into the sea off the coast yesterday. They saw the pilot, 27 year old Mr. Michael Macey, of Sutton Valence, clamber out on the wing. Then three swimmers splashed to the rescue.
