Feb. 02, 1955 - Wreckage of missing airliner found. 29 dead. The wreckage of the Belgian Sabana airliner which vanished with 29 people on board during a flight from Belgium to Rome on February 13 - was found on the Terminillo Mountain almost buried by snow - some 45 miles from Rome. Troops, police and mountain farmers reached the snow buried wreck in a blinding snowstorm in order to recover the 29 bodies. Photo shows Alpine soldiers salvage pieces of the plane found in the snow on the Terminillo Mountain
