Sep. 09, 1956 - EX-ARMY OFFICER JUMPS FROM CHURCH ROOF AFTER KEEPING POLICE AT BAY FOR MORE THAN THREE HOURS.Twenty five year old Alexander Reiss - ex-Winchester Schoolboy and ex-Army Officer - jumped 30 feet from the roof of a church in Felixtowe, yesterday after keeping police at bay for more than three hours.
