Jan. 01, 1956 - Two killed when explosion wrecks building at Felixstone gas works.: Two men were killed and five injured- including a doctor - during an explosion which wrecked buildings - at the Felixstone (Suffolk) Gas works yesterday. The explosion - which was in the governor house - was followed by fire. Firemen used wet clay to plu up the flaming leaks in the gas main - part of which was white hot. Photo shows view of the wreckage after the explosion yesterday
