Nov. 11, 1956 - Seven die as aircraft from Mid to east crashes at Blackbushe - Hants The burning wreckage: Sven people including children died as result of the crash at Blackbushe, Hants last night of a Service families aircraft as it arrived form the middle east. The Hormes airliner was approaching the airfield in fog and crashed in a wood about one and half miles away. Fifty six R.A.F and Army wives and thirteen other children were saved.
