Jan. 31, 1958 - 10 Killed and 87 Injured as Two Trains Collide in Thick Fog at Dagenham. Ten people were killed and eighty seven injured last night in another rail crash in thick fog when one of the trains crashed into the rear of a stationary train at Dagenham. It happened on the busy Southend line as the last of the rush hour workers were on their way home from Fenchurch street. Keystone Photo Shows: This man was unlucky, he escaped unhurt.
