Jan. 01, 1958 - 10 Killed And 80 Injured As Two Trains Collide In Thick Fog At Dagenham: Ten people were killed and eighty injured last night in another rail crash in thick fog when one of the trains crashed into the rear of a stationary train at Dagenham. It happened on the busy Southend line as the last of the rush-hour trains from Fen church-street took city workers home. Photo Shows: A picture taken at 5 am this morning shows cranes lifting the engine of the moving train which crashed into the rear of the Stationary one back on the track
