Sep. 01, 1958 - 1-9-58 Handley Page Dart-Herald crashes The new Handley Page Dart-Herald aircraft, on which Handley Page have spent nearly a £3, 000, 000, crashed at Godalming, Surrey on Saturday, whilst on its way to the Farnborough Air Show. All nine people aboard crawled out alive. The plane was being piloted by the Chief test pilot for Handley Page, George Hazelden.
