Mar. 22 British viscount airliner collindes with Italian jet fighter and thirty people were killed. A British European airways viscount airliner from London airport and an Italian jet fighter collided today four -and - a - half miles above the Italian coast. The airliner exploded and all 30 people aboard, 25 passengers and a crew of five, were killed. The crash happened in bad visibility over Nettuno, a small fishing village 30 miles south of Rome, one of the dead is Miss Jane Buckingham, a London model, who is believed to have been flying to Naples to see prince Shiv, whose unofficial engagement to Miss Eva Bartok, the film actress, was announced this week.
