May 05, 1960 - Footbridge falls on racing track at Aix-les-bains. 6 die.: Six persons were killed and 30 injured yesterday when a racing car turtled into the debris of a footbridge which collapsed on the track in front of the oncoming cars. The dead included the driver of the car, an Englisman Chris Threfell. Photo shows rescuer surrounding the wrickage of the car
