Mar. 03, 1962 - Topsy, The Artistic Cat, Is Killed By Car: Topsy, a three-year-old black cat owned by Dr George Cooper, of Hertford, was run over by a car yesterday and killed. Dr. Cooper exhibit some of his cat's sketches at Foyle's Art Gallery last year. He got the idea when he found that Topsy had a liking for pencils and crayons - so he hung a crayon on a string over a sheet of paper. The results of Topsy's attack on the crayons was a picture. Photo shows Topsy attacking the dangling pencil to produce a drawning
