Aug. 08, 1962 - The flying Scot crashes in the rain ace motor cyclist seriously injured; Bob McIntyre one of the greatest motor cycling aces of all times, almost certainly ended his racing career yesterday in a high speed crashed at Oulton Park, Cheshire. Bob, aged 33, crashed in the British Championship senior race in blinding rain. He wen off teh track and into the trees at Clayhill considered an easy part of the circuit. He has a fractured skull, injuries to the brain, and a broken arm. Last night his condition was stated to be very seriously ill.
