Aug. 15, 1960 - Horror crash at Lyme regis.: Two people were killed and 12 injured when a lorry carrying 31 Boy scouts home to London from camp at Colyton, Devon, careered 400 yards down the hill at Lyme Regis, Dorset, on Saturday. At his home at Stockwell, London, yesterday, 36-year old Mr. Roland Harper, the driver of the lorry, died: I'd just got round a bend when the brakes failed to act'.
