Jan. 01, 1965 - Nosel earthslide gets critical: The German city Nittel and the Luxembourg community Machtum are iin extreme danger by a landslide of a vienyard at the Moselle river which move 4 meters a day towards the river. Railway tracks leading over the danger zone have been derailed, while a highway passing above the track is blocked by the slide. If the earth slides into the river, high floods are expected to demolish the two cities
