Accidents - Disasters - Fires - Floods - Tragedies

Jun. 06, 1965 - High-water in South Germanu! Since some weeks it is raining Cats and Dogs in South Germany, specially in Bavaria. Little brooks grow up to great rivers, and the water overflooded streets, fields cellars and meadows. Many streets are blockaded for cars, and the famous German Alps-Street is also impracticable. Specially the Three-River-Town Passau is overflowed, the Donau reached a water-high of 9, 50m that means 5m more than the normal. Photo shows A bus is driving through the overflowed and in the meantime closed Bundesstrabe 12, in the right a temporary bridge (picture above) Animals must be brought to an other place from this farm in a suburb of Passay, whish is also overflowed
